WILL YOU HAVE YOUR OWN HOME IN HEAVEN?
Jesus will prepare a dwelling place in God’s house for you in heaven.
Yes. Jesus said that he will come back and take you to your own dwelling place in heaven. “In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also” (John 14:2-3 ESV). So this dwelling place or room will part of a larger place or house. The dwelling places of different Christians most likely will be different because God loves diversity in creation.

In Jesus’ parable of the shrewd dishonest manager (Luke 16:1-12) that discounted the bills of his master’s debtors before he was fired so that the people may receive him into their “houses” (Luke 16:4 ESV), the master commended the manager for his shrewdness. Jesus then also commended the manger for his shrewdness and encouraged his followers to be shrewd spiritually to help other people become Christians so that other Christians in heaven “may receive you [Christians] into the eternal dwellings” (Luke 16:9 ESV).
