WILL YOU BE RENUNITED WITH LOVED ONES IN HEAVEN?

WILL YOU BE RENUNITED WITH LOVED ONES IN HEAVEN?

You will be reunited with Christian loved ones in heaven.

Yes. You will recognize and be reunited with loved ones that are Christians in heaven. First, the departing of your Christian loved ones is not the end of your relationship with them, it is only an interruption. You have not lost them, because you know they are in the intermediate present heaven/paradise.

They are experiencing joy in the presence of Jesus. You do not have to grieve like the rest of mankind that are not Christians, who have no hope of heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14). One day you will be brought back together in a joyful and wonderful ultimate reunion with them to “be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words” (1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 NIV).

Second, you should be encouraged that your deceased Christian loved ones are vitally interested in God’s Kingdom on earth. They most likely are “a great cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1) cheering you on as you serve God. Christians will have the privilege of eventually meeting every Christian that ever lived. It will be the ultimate greatest adventure to worship and explore the new heaven and new earth together with Christian family, friends, and other Christians you never met before.
