APOSTLE PAUL’S END TIMES TEACHINGS
The apostle Paul taught about the rebellion that would occur before Jesus returns on the “day of the Lord” to destroy evil, raise dead Christians and Christians that are alive, and bring them to the new heaven and new earth.

Rebellion before the “day of the Lord.”
Rebellion will come (2 Thessalonians 2:1-3).
The man of lawlessness (“MOL”) will be revealed as the son of destruction (2 Thessalonians 2:3).
The MOL will oppose and exalt himself over God and take his seat in God’s temple (2 Thessalonians 2:4).
The MOL will display himself as God (2 Thessalonians 2:4).
The MOL will be revealed when the one holding him back (God the Father or the Holy Spirit) steps out of the way before Jesus returns and slays and destroys the MOL (2 Thessalonians 2:5-8).
The MOL will perform, by Satan’s workings, all kinds of miracles, signs, and false wonders to deceive all those who are perishing, because they delighted in evil and have no place in their heart for the truth to be spiritually saved by God (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10).
When Jesus returns on the day of the Lord, he will slay and destroy by the breath of his mouth and wipe out the MAL (2 Thessalonians 2:8).
On the “day of the Lord.”
Jesus Christ “the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God” (1 Thessalonians 4:16 NET).
Christians that have fallen asleep (died) will rise from the dead first (1 Thessalonians 4:14-16).
Then Christians “who are alive, who are left, will be suddenly caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words” (1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 NET).
Christians should not be uninformed and believe those who say the day of the Lord has already come (1Thessalonians 4:13).
Christians should not grieve like non-Christians that have no hope, because if Christians believe that Jesus died and rose again, they also believe that God will raise Christians that have died so Jesus can bring them to heaven to be reunited with God and other Christians for eternity (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).
