THE CUMULATIVE CLEAR AND CONVINCING EVIDENCE FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD

When examining the evidence for the existence of God, not only should you consider each piece of evidence; you should consider the synergistic effect of how all the pieces of evidence interact to support your conclusion. In other words, the pieces of evidence reinforce one another, producing an effect stronger than any piece of evidence by itself. As stated above, the evidence for the existence of God includes the following. First, since time, space, matter, and the universe had a beginning, there must be a beginner. Second, since the universe and Earth are finely tuned so that life can exist and so that this same life can examine the universe, then a fine tuner exists. Third, since the universe and life within the universe have complex design based on information, there must be an intelligent designer. Fourth, since objective moral laws exist, there must be a moral law giver. Fifth, since absolute laws of logic and consciousness exist, there must be a conscious logic law giver. The above scientific and philosophical synergistic arguments for God establish by clear and convincing evidence that an eternal, uncaused, timeless, nonmaterial, powerful, intelligent, intentional, logical, conscious, and personal God exists.
